Floramo's of Malden

It was my daughter's birthday, and she wanted to come here to celebrate it. The food was excellent. My daughter loved the Alfredo Pasta, and we had the Steak tips and Ribs Combo. Both were absolutely delicious, and the steak tips were grilled to perfection. My sister ordered the Greek Salad with Steak Tips and loved it. The only complaint I have is the service was not up to par. Our server, Giselle, seemed uninterested and did not make us feel welcome. I ordered Tiramisu for my daughter and specifically told her that it was her birthday. She brought the dessert out without a candle or even greeting her ”Happy Birthday.” Meanwhile, at the same time, a table across the room got a lovely, cheerful, happy birthday song from their server, and everyone sang along. We've gone to the other Floramo’s location for birthdays and have always had a great time. We didn't expect her to sing, but a little acknowledgment would have been sufficient. We chose this place to celebrate a birthday and not any other establishments. The food was fantastic, and we will try the Wakefield location, but unfortunately, the service we received here was disappointing.

I just can’t say enough about Floramo’s in Malden. It was my go to restaurant when it was in Chelsea and it still is. I love the people -John, MJ, Barbara, Denis, Maria, Nelson, Rigo!! The food never disappoints…the best steak tips (juicy/tender), ribs (fall off the bone) , twin lobster specials and so much more. I head to Floramo’s right off the plane from Florida.

Love the steak tips here. Not quite sure how they make them, but they are a taste like no other. I would almost call them fork tender. The ribs are also good here. Not quite to the level of KC’s Rib Shack, but certainly not a bad choice. As for value, it is good value for the money. Of course nothing is cheap any more, but they stretch your dollar as far as they can. The atmosphere is a bar room, but still family friendly. If you remember the location in Chelsea, it is similar to that. Great food and people, can’t wait to go back.

Order for pick up. They Forgot to put In utensils. Ordered the steak tips with rice. Steak was pretty good rice was bland. My biggest problem is that for 28 bucks a plate the portion was super small. I was so disappointed. My partner recommended this place to me and he was saying that this place a few years ago that the plates was 11-12 bucks. Just because of inflation doesn’t mean that we more than doubled the price. For a simple small portion. I feel like im paying Chinese food prices. But with Chinese food I can get 3-4 meals out of it. Just a heads up.
